Connected dietetics

Begin with a Primed dietitian. Continue with Nourenti.

A dietitian consultation should remain useful after the appointment ends. Nourenti keeps your dietitian-released plan, daily priorities, check-ins, progress, questions and practical next steps together in one calm personal space.

One care relationship, carried between appointments

1

Meet your Primed dietitian

Begin with a dietitian consultation centred on your health, symptoms, preferences and everyday circumstances.

2

Receive your care plan

Your dietitian sets your priorities, releases your plan and decides which check-ins and tools are appropriate.

3

Stay connected through Nourenti

Keep your current focus, meal entries, questions, check-ins, messages and progress together between consultations.

4

Return better informed

Bring relevant changes, practical difficulties and questions back to your dietitian for clinical review.

When the plan meets real life

Appetite, symptoms, time and capacity can change after the consultation. Nourenti gives clients a structured way to explain what happened without treating a difficult day as a failed day.

Know what matters today

How a first session goes

Your first session is about understanding your situation. Your dietitian will ask about your health history, your relationship with food, your goals, and any medical context. There is no expectation that you arrive with a clear plan — that is what the session is for.

By the end of the first session, you will have a shared sense of direction and a practical starting point. Your dietitian will explain what working together will look like and answer any questions you have.

Sessions are 50 minutes. For telehealth, you will receive a secure video link before your appointment. For in-person sessions at Frenchs Forest, parking is available on site.

Your Companion between sessions

Primed Health patients have access to a secure patient portal — your Companion — where you can log meals, track symptoms, review your meal plan, and communicate with your dietitian between sessions. Your dietitian can see what you choose to share, helping them prepare for each session with you. The Companion is not a crisis service.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a GP referral to see a dietitian?
You do not need a referral to book. However, a GP referral may allow you to access Medicare rebates through a Chronic Disease Management plan (up to 5 allied health sessions per calendar year for eligible patients). Contact us to discuss your situation.
How much does a session cost?
Our fee schedule is available on request. Medicare rebates may apply with a GP referral and Chronic Disease Management plan. Private health insurance extras policies often include dietetics cover. Contact us for a personalised estimate.
Can I see a dietitian by video?
Yes. Most of our dietetics sessions are delivered by secure video across NSW. You need a device with a camera, a stable internet connection, and a private space. Medicare rebates apply equally to telehealth sessions.
What is a weight-neutral approach?
A weight-neutral approach focuses on sustainable health behaviours — eating patterns, movement, sleep, stress — rather than weight loss as a primary goal. Our dietitians work with you to improve your health and wellbeing in a way that is realistic and kind to your body.
Do you support people with eating disorders?
Yes. Our dietitians have experience supporting people in eating disorder recovery, including working alongside psychologists and GPs as part of a multidisciplinary team. We use a recovery-focused approach that prioritises your relationship with food over numerical targets.
What happens in a first session?
Your dietitian will spend time understanding your health history, your relationship with food, your goals, and any medical context. Together you will begin to map out a direction. There is no pressure to have everything figured out before you arrive.
